I’m writing from Delta Flight 92 from Vegas to JFK. I have spent the week with CASE Design, Inc presenting all things BIM, Parametric Design–with some robust coding from CASE’s very own Don Rudder (@AYBABTM). Our classes will be up on the AU website soon and I would recommend anyone to review the presentations by:
– Federico Negro and David Light (AB7240 – Real-World Application of Autodesk® Building Design Suite Workflows)
– David Fano and Mark Green (AB3555 – Beyond Massing: Conceptual Design Tools in Autodesk® Revit® Architecture 2013)
– Mark Green and Alan Jackson (MP3602 – Hybrid Autodesk® Revit® Modeling: MEP Modelers Encountering Complex Architectural Geometry)
– David Fano (AV3567 – Parametric Design Modeling with Autodesk® 3ds Max®)
CASE had to have been referenced 100+ times. Having our T-Shirts distributed at the CASE TweetUp on Tuesday turned out to be an amazing marketing move. Even the secrity guard at the airport asked if CASE was a conference because he had seen so many people wearing them. I also heard at least three times the analogy of CASE being the Google of AEC.
I will post vidoes and files from my two classes on Conceptual Masses and Adaptive Panelization, as well as the content from the MEP/Adaptive Components with Alan Jackson.
Thanks for all who attended, especially those who participated in the TweetUp.
